Battle Ready Paint Battle
There's a painting standard called "Battle Ready" that's supposed to be the minimum standard for any Warhammer 4ok army participating in organized play. Not a rule to reward people for a good paint job, but mainly a rule to keep people from showing up with completely gray, totally unpainted models.
Ideally, your army is painted, and the actual quality of the paint isn't really the issue.
For the first part of my Warhammer journey, this was pretty easy. I worked day and night, basically the times I wasn't either working, eating, or sleeping, to paint models for my first few battles. I would say my newest models carry some of the best paint jobs I've dealt out in my life.
But I kept adding more models to the mix. I rediscovered units I really liked, and wanted to use more of. I bought more kits, started them, got distracted, and never came back to finish.

I'm painting to a higher standard than "Battle Ready". But its not that much higher. And it's not so much I don't have the time to do it. I just need to get organized.

So here's me getting organized. I'm going to post my current army in drips and drabs until the entire force is "battle ready" painted and champing at the bit to kill, kill, kill.
This will also give me a chance to create some links between pages INSIDE my blog.
